The tiniest of our native birds the ʻanianiau of Kauaʻi weigh less than one of those fancy metal credit cards! They are a generalist species that spends a lot of time in the understory and they love kūkaemoa (pictured here). ʻAnianiau like all Kauaʻi birds are declining due to the spread of mosquitoes.
